Agri-Business Appraisal

Jessica RitterJessica D. Ritter has appraised agricultural properties throughout Oregon for 12 years. She worked at a private firm in Salem from 1999-2005 and took her experience and expertise to join Agri-Business and perform quality USPAP compliant appraisal reports for lenders, attorneys, accountants and private individuals. She is a private, independent contractor (also known as a fee-appraiser.) Appraisals are typically used for loan collateral, estate planning or assistance in determining a property’s sale price.

Legally allowed to appraise all properties in Oregon, she focuses her skills primarily on agricultural properties throughout the Willamette Valley. This includes, but is not limited to: Marion County, Polk, Yamhill and Clackamas Counties.

Typical farm appraisals completed include: dairies, vineyards, wineries, nurseries, hazelnut orchards, processing facilities, seed cleaning facilities, grass seed farms, row crop lands, berry farms, Christmas tree farms, irrigated farmlands, dry farmlands and pasturelands.

Jessica holds the highest appraisal license available in the State of Oregon. She is a "Certified General Appraiser", whereas most appraisers focus on less complex, typically residential properties and only obtain their "State License." For this reason, she focuses on agricultural properties and does not typically appraise residential property. Jessica is a member of the Oregon chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (OSFMRA).
