Location:

N2K Berry Farm is located along SW Farmington Road near the intersection of Hwy 219. It is approximately 5.5 miles southeast of Hillsboro and 5 miles west of Beaverton in Washington County, Oregon. Land:

The total acreage of the farm is of 200 acres. It is comprised of approximately 94 acres of irrigated tillable cropland, 83 acres of irrigated Blueberries, 20 acres of buildings, roads and ancillary land, and a 3 acre home site. Tax lot 200 is 90.97 acres on the north side of Farmington Road and also borders Hwy 219. Improvements:

Building improvements consist of a simple single family residence, newly constructed shop (2007), large barn with cooler (not recently used), and several out buildings. 

Irrigation:

The property includes ample water rights to irrigate. Primary groundwater rights from the well totaling 172 acres are under certificate GR 477 (1957) and certificate 81079 (1979). There are multiple additional primary and supplemental rights on file. These cover surface water rights, diversion from Christensen creek, rights to hold water in the LRM Pond and additional Swale reservoir. The well is approximately 700’ deep and has a 12” casing. A submersible 50 HP pump and a 30 HP booster pump are used. The booster pump and panel are new in 2014. A second pumping station from ground water stored in the Swale uses a 30 HP pump (refurbished in 2015). A Lakos sand filter system was installed in spring 2015 at the Swale pumping station to accommodate the new acreage under double drip lines. An Amiad filter is in place at the Well head.
